Simple Sequence Wizard
You create a simple process in the runtime of Guided Procedures. So you do not have to use the highly complex functionality of the design time.
The processes you create using this wizard have the following properties:
· Exactly one phase
· Sequential activities
· Several processors: you can assign a separate processor to each action, which you determine either in the design time or later during initiation.
If you want to use the Simple Sequence Wizard to create a simple process, you must perform the following steps:
Aktivitä...
1. Define activities
2. Define input parameters
3. Start process
· You integrate any number of actions into the process to be created. You can add existing actions or create new actions.
¡ Adding actions (Add)
You can choose existing actions both from the Public Folders area and the Personal Templates area.
¡ Creating actions (Create)
You can create new actions, which are then displayed in the Personal Templates area and can be selected for the process to be created. For more information about how to create actions and integrate Callable Objects into an action, see Creating Callable Objects.
· Since the selected actions are not executed simultaneously but one after another, you must determine the sequence of the actions.
· You assign a processor to each action. You can determine whether assignments are allowed at the time the process is initiated.
· You assign parameters: you can assign input parameters either to output parameters or to other input parameters. You have the following options:
¡ Define Mapping
You assign an appropriate input or output parameter to a selected input parameter. The system displays all appropriate parameters you can use.
¡ Set Default
You enter a default value for the selected input parameter.
¡ Clear Mapping / Default
¡ Propose Mappings
By including the types and names of the individual parameters, the system checks all input parameters to see whether they can be assigned to other parameters.
· You determine whether the default values may be changed by unassigned parameters at the time the process is initiated.

For more information about parameters and how they are consolidated, see Consolidating Parameters.
· Before saving the process template, you define the following attributes for it:
¡ Process title
¡ Process description
¡ Folder in Personal Templates
¡ Whether the process should be started – initiated - right after the template has been saved.
§ Start process:
After the template is saved, the system immediately starts the initiation phase (see also Starting (Initiating) a New Process) and starts the process flow. You can then find the process in the runtime under Processes.
§ Do not start process:
After it has been saved, you can find the process as an activated process template in Personal Templates in the GP user design time.
· You save the process template.
