Check List
Wizard
You create a simple process in the runtime of Guided Procedures. So you do not have to use the highly complex functionality of the design time.
The processes you create using this wizard have the following properties:
· Exactly one phase
· Parallel activities
· Exactly one processor (the initiator)
If you want to use the Check List Wizard to create a simple process, you must perform the following steps:
...
1. Define activities
2. Define input parameters
3. Start process
· You integrate any number of actions into the process to be created. You can add existing actions or create new actions.
¡ Add actions
You can choose existing actions both from the Public Folders area and the Personal Templates area.
¡ Create actions
You can create new actions, which are then displayed in the Personal Templates area and can be selected for the process to be created. For more information about how to create actions and integrate Callable Objects into an action, see Creating Callable Objects.
· If required, you defined the default values of those input parameters that are part of the actions involved in the process to be created. You can also specify:
¡ Which parameters are displayed at runtime.
¡ Whether these values may be changed again when the process is started.
· Before saving the process template, you define the following attributes for it:
¡ Process title
¡ Process description
¡ Folder in Personal Templates
¡ Whether the process should be started – initiated - right after the template has been saved.
§ Start process: After the template is saved, the system immediately starts the initiation phase (see also Starting (Initiating) a New Process) and starts the process flow. You can then find the process in the runtime under Processes.
§ Do not start process: After it has been saved, you can find the process as an activated process template in Personal Templates in the GP user design time.
· You save the process template.
