Use

The InfoSource supplies information on the assignment of appropriation requests to program positions. It does not provide values for an InfoCube. The assignment information is temporarily stored in the PSA and analyzed in the update rules (for InfoCube 0IMFA_1) of InfoSources for the appropriation requests.

Note

For assistance in choosing investment programs, you can use the entry help. Note: You have to convert the names of investment programs that have names longer than four characters in the OLTP system. You do so Customizing in the OLTP system. The entry help displays only those investment programs with names that have been correctly converted.

For more information on converting the program name, see the documentation in the BW Implementation Guide in the OLTP system. Choose Investment Management ® Investment Programs ® Convert Program Name.

Before you load the InfoSources for the appropriation requests, you must load the data for the InfoSources to the PSA system. Follow these steps:

  1. In the initial screen of the Administrator Workbench, choose the InfoSources tab page This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .
  2. Choose Investment Management ® Investment Management - general ® Appropriation request assignment to reach a This graphic is explained in the accompanying text system selection.
  3. Choose the system you want using the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text icon. You reach the Maintain transfer rules for communication structure screen.
  4. Choose the Transfer method tab page This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .
  5. Choose the TRFC with PSA radio button This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .
  6. In the InfoPackage, choose the Data trgt tab page This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and choose the PSA only radio button This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .
