Overview of the Archiving Workbench 

The Archiving Workbench documentation is divided into the following areas:

·        Archiving Workbench (CA-GTF-TS-GMA)

This part contains a short description of the functions, application options and structure of the Archiving Workbench and is aimed at employees who are responsible for deciding whether or not to implement this tool.

¡        In the Overview of the Customizing Settings (Archiving Workbench) section, you can find information on the relevant Customizing settings for the Archiving Workbench.

¡        The Creating an Archiving Object (Archiving Workbench) section provides information on creating archiving objects using the Archiving Workbench.

¡        The Including an Archiving Object (Archiving Workbench) in the Application and Manual Postprocessing (Archiving Workbench) sections provide more details on the postprocessing steps required.

·        Special Features of Data Archiving (Archiving Workbench)

This part contains a description of the special features of data archiving using the Archiving Workbench, as opposed to data archiving without the Workbench.

·        The Data Archiving Process (Archiving Workbench)

This part contains a schematic description of the data archiving process of an archiving object formed using the Archiving Workbench.

·        Introduction to Data Archiving (CA-ARC)

This section contains basic information on data archiving. The information applies both to conventional archiving objects created manually and archiving objects generated using the Archiving Workbench.
