IM-FA: Assignment of Orders

Use

The InfoSource supplies information on the assignment of orders to program positions. It does not provide values for an InfoCube. The assignment information is temporarily stored in the PSA and analyzed in the update rules (for InfoCube 0IMFA_1) of InfoSources for the orders.

Note

For assistance in choosing investment programs, you can use the entry help. Note: You have to convert the names of investment programs that have names longer than four characters in the OLTP system. You do so Customizing in the OLTP system. The entry help displays only those investment programs with names that have been correctly converted.

For more information on converting the program name, see the documentation in the BW Implementation Guide in the OLTP system. Choose Investment Management ® Investment Programs ® Convert Program Name.

Before you load the InfoSources for the orders , you must load the data for the InfoSources to the PSA system. Follow these steps:

In the initial screen of the Administrator Workbench, choose the InfoSources tab page .
Choose Investment Management ® Investment Management - general ® Order assignment to reach a system selection.
Choose the system you want using the icon. You reach the Maintain transfer rules for communication structure screen.
Choose the Transfer method tab page .
Choose the TRFC with PSA radio button .
In the InfoPackage, choose the Data trgt tab page and choose the PSA only radio button .
