Use

The User Administration workset provides administrators with tools to enable user management and role assignments in the portal.

Integration

By default, the User Administration workset is integrated into the User Admin role.

Features

The workset contains the following items made up of folders and iViews:

Users

Provides a wide range of user management capabilities, such as creating and maintaining user accounts for the portal, viewing user information, resetting passwords, and more.

Roles

Allows administrators to assign roles to users and groups, or vice versa.

Groups

Allows administrators to create, modify, and delete groups. Also allows users and groups to be assigned to groups.

User Mapping

Allows administrators to map portal user IDs to user IDs in systems connected to the portal for Single Sign-On (SSO) purposes.

Replication

Allows administrators to view errors that occurred during automatic replication and to manually replicate user data from portal user management to external systems.

Import/Export

Allows administrators to import users, groups, and roles and to export users. The data is imported and exported in a predefined text format.

Activity Reports

Displays preconfigured reports on user activity in the portal and the current status of activity reporting.

 Note

To view activity information, the system administrator must enable data collection and aggregation.
