Adding Objects as a Copy
You can add content
objects to another object as a copy. In contrast to delta links, this means that the
copied object no longer has a reference to the object from which it was
copied. For more information see
Copies.
The following objects can be added to roles and worksets as a copy:

Proceed as follows:
...
1. Move a role or workset to the Edit Area of the Portal Content Studio.
2. In the tree structure of the Portal Catalog, select the object that you want to add to the role or workset.
3. Click on the folder in which you want to insert an object in the hierarchy of the role or workset.
4. Click with the secondary mouse key on the object in the Portal Catalog that you want to add and choose Add <Object> to Role/Workset ® Copy.
5. The object is added to the roles or workset as a copy.

You cannot see if an object was added as a copy or as a delta link. You can only see this in the properties of the linked object. Copies only have the property Location. The ID of the object to which the object was copied is stored here. Delta links also have the property Location of Linked Object. For more information read Adding Objects as a Delta Link.
