Implementation Considerations

The MaxDB PHP programming interface enables you to access MaxDB database instances with PHP.

The software for the MaxDB PHP extension is published via the PECL standard distribution and can be downloaded free of charge under http://pecl.php.net/package/maxdb. You also require PHP Version 4.3.6 or higher.

The documentation for the MaxDB PHP extension is available in html format under http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.maxdb.php. This documentation is also available in docbookxml format under http://cvs.php.net/phpdoc/en/reference/maxdb.

The programming interface can be used on Linux x86_32, Microsoft Windows 2000, and Microsoft Windows XP.
