Configuration of the Portal Drive 
Use
On user PCs, you can assign KM folders to network drive letters. Users can then open, edit, and save documents located in KM folders in Windows. In addition, the portal drive provides functions for offline editing and synchronization. Communication with the server is done using the WebDAV protocol.
Prerequisites
You have installed the Windows client on the client PCs. For more information, see Installation.

Shared Used of Documents and Folders
The portal drive conforms to version 1.3 of the RFC3744 specification for the WebDAV Access Control Protocol.
Versioning
The portal drive supports the RFC3253 specification for Versioning Extensions to WebDAV.
