The ALV component SALV_WD_TABLE is a configurable Web Dynpro component used to display data in the form of tables. It contains a configuration model (ALV configuration model), which you can use to determine the appearance, functions and run-time behavior of the ALV output, as well as the display of the standard ALV output.

·        To display ALV output in your application, include the ALV component in the Web Dynpro component of your application.

·        If the ALV component is included in the application, you can determine the contents required for the ALV output by specifying information about the context and internal data table.

·        The ALV component contains various views that you use for the different display formats of the ALV output.

Note

If you do not want to display the ALV output using the standard settings, you need to use the ALV configuration model.
