Supported Backup Tools from Other
Providers 
You can use backup tools from other providers to back up and restore data and log entries or to export and import data.
When data is backed up or exported using such a backup tool, each backup or data stream is given an external backup ID.

If you want to use a backup tool not listed here, contact support.
In the Database Manager CLI, backing up using backup tools from other providers is also possible with scripts. In this case, however, the Database Manager does not write a backup history and thus cannot check whether the backup was successful.
