Description

Designing a form-based procedure

A form is designed by the business expert. This form is integrated into a Guided Procedures process

Instantiating a procedure

A user must use the Guided Procedures process. As a part of the workflow, the form is downloaded, information is filled-in appropriately, the form is sent, and a work item for the next process step is generated.

Executing the task

The form process work item is rendered to the user via the centralized worklist and the user executes the task.

     Electronic representations of paper forms

     Form fields are linked with respective database fields

     Used in a process step within Guided Procedures

     Can be used online or offline

     Can be pre-filled with context data, for example, name and cost center
