Planning Folders
The
Planning Folders
mentioned below contain related planning levels, planning packages, planning
layouts and planning functions in a predefined planning area.
The following planning folders are available in the planning area CP: Sales and Promotions Plan/Actual (4TPM8000):
The planning folder Forecast (4TPM8100) contains forecast-relevant planning objects:
· The planning folder displays the following variables:
¡ Released Version(CPVERS)
¡ Forecast: Number of Reference Periods (TPREFIN)
¡ Forecast: Number of Prediction Periods (TPPREDIN)
¡ Current Fiscal Year Period(FISCP01)
You can change the variables CPVERS and FISCP01 in the planning folder. However, you can only change the variables TPREFIN and TPPREDIN in the planning workbench (transaction BPS0).

· The planning layout Overview Forecast (4TPM8157) gives you an overview of the relevant current forecasts (see also Planning Level: Forecast).
· There are also a number of planning sequences and planning functions available to support you in creating forecasts

The planning function Copy Version CMP to CAF (4TPM8197) is executed automatically after the forecast data has been saved. This ensures that the plan version CAF (current forecast) always contains current forecasts and actual data.
You can use the following planning folders for annual planning, rolling planning and condition planning:
· MM: All Customers(4TPM8215)
· ML: All Customers(4TPM8205)
· MM: Account Groups(4TPM8225)
· AC: Account Groups(4TPM8175)
· Accounts(4TPM8155)
· Subaccounts(4TPM8165)
· Channel(4TPM8115)
· Region(4TPM8195)
The structure of the planning folders is largely similar. The following example shows the structure of the planning folder AC: Account Groups (4TPM8175):
· Global planning functions
The planning folder includes planning functions that run automatically when you open or save the folder. These include, for example, the mutual conversion of billing quantity and net revenue or the assignment of plan data to the relevant subsequent customer level.

The planning folder also contains planning layouts that you can use for annual planning and rolling planning. These take into account the planning of net revenue and billing quantity and the planning of conditions.
