Use

Together with the BW-BPS planning environment, the planning services form the technical basis for the planning applications deployed in CRM Analytics. You can use the planning services to make special settings in the planning applications.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites need to be fulfilled for the planning level before you can use the planning services:

·        The planning level contains all the characteristics and key figures that are necessary for planning.

·        For characteristics that are automatically filled from SAP CRM or from the worklist, do not enter any values in the Selection tab page.

·        For characteristics that are not filled automatically, enter in the Selection tab page one or more fixed values. Note that no interval is permitted here; only one or several single values are permitted.

·        An ad hoc package has been created for the planning level.

Activities

       1.      Select the planning area for which you want to make the planning services settings. You do this under Business Planning and Simulation ® Planning Content ® CRM Analytics ® Planning Services ® Select Planning Area.

       2.      Choose Business Planning and Simulation ® Planning Content ® CRM Analytics ® Planning Services ® Customizing.

       3.      Make the required settings.

       4.      Save your changes.
