Description of the Key Figures:
The extractor provides the following key figures:
READG: Measurement Reading/Total Counter Reading in SI Unit
CNTRR: Counter Reading in SI Unit
CDIFF: Counter Reading Difference in SI Unit
RECDV: Measurement Reading in Unit of Entry
Extraction Logic:
First, measurement documents are selected from the IMRG table along with fields for the corresponding measuring point. The OBJNR of the IMPTT table (measuring point), which creates the reference to the measuring point object, is then resolved. If the object for the measuring point is an item of equipment, the OBJNR is written to the EQUNR field of the extraction structure; if it is a functional location, the OBJNR is written to the TPLNR field. Since all of the data records from the extracted data package are processed in this step, a delta date is determined simultaneously from the ERDAT and AEDAT fields, which is necessary for the extractor's delta capacity. Finally, the SI unit is determined from the unit of entry of the measurement document, since all measurement readings are also stored as SI values in SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence. The extractor supports a delta mechanism, which is based on a time stamp. A time stamp is derived from the creation date and change date of a data record. If there is no change date for a data record, the time stamp is derived from the creation date. Otherwise, it is always derived from the change date. This ensures that both new records and changed records are extracted with the next delta.
