Data Mining Configuration 

Purpose

The Data Mining Configuration IT process allows you to create models for data mining methods so that you can use these methods according to your specific business needs. You integrate this model into the analysis process. The Analysis Process Designer is available for this purpose and provides intuitive graphic user interfaces.

Prerequisites

In order to run this process, you need to determine an InfoProvider as the data provider. You have defined this in the Data Modeling IT process.

Process Flow

The following process runs in the BI usage type:

       1.      You define the parameters of the data mining method.

       2.      You integrate the data mining models into your analysis process.

Result

You have extended your analysis process by data mining models.
