Copy Actual CY to Actual/Plan CY in 4TPM8000 (4TPM9151)
This planning function copies actual data to the planning area CP: Sales and Promotions Plan/Actual (4TPM8000). The existing values are overwritten during copying. This enables you to update the data in the target InfoCube as often as required.
You can also use the global planning sequence Copy Actual to 4TPM8000 (4TPM9151) (see also Global Planning Sequences).
In the parameter group Copy Actual Current + Old to 4TPM8000 (4TPM9151), two selections are defined for the characteristic Fiscal Year/Period. You can use the variables Current Fiscal Year Period (FISCP01) and Last Fiscal Year Period (FISCP04) as selection criteria.
In the details for the selection FISCP04 (Last Fiscal Year Periods), the copy conditions are defined as follows: The copy condition from old planning area (4TPM3000) to new planning area (4TPM8000) always applies for the planning area.

The actual data is copied to version C00 (Copy actual) and to version CAF (Current forecast). Copying to version CAF ensures that all current actual data for the previously completed periods exists in this version. This version also contains the forecast for the current and future periods, which is then supplemented iteratively by the periodic actual data copies. You can also use this parameter group to start an initial data transfer by changing the selection.

The actual data is also copied to the work plan versions in this case. This ensures that the past periods from the current year contain the known actual values in the plan version too in rolling planning.
You have to adjust the planning functions for the initial actual data transfer. You do this by replacing the variable FISCP04 in the above selection conditions by a suitable interval for the actual data transfer.
