XML iView Properties 

The “basic properties” discussed in the URL iView Properties topic are also relevant to XML iViews. There are no other iView properties that are specific to XML iViews.

XML iViews use the “server-side” fetch method only; therefore the proxy settings of the server are used instead of the users' browser settings. For information on configuring the proxy settings on the portal server, see System Properties for Proxy Server.

If the proxy settings on the server are not defined, an iView runtime error will result.
