Definition

The Central System is the system in the PAL landscape in which you execute transaction PAL.

 

Use

In the Central System you define and manage your output devices, and you distribute your PAL Printer definitions to the Target Systems. 

 

Requirements

Transaction PAL is supported starting with SAP NetWeaver 7.0. Therefore the Central System must be a NW 7.0 system.

 

Note This does not apply to the Target Systems. For more information, see The Target System.
