® Define and Assign Valuation Classes
The (special) valuation classes are used to classify the financial investments in a specific valuation area by asset type.
Examples of valuation classes in a German HGB valuation area would be "fixed assets" and "current assets".
The (special) valuation class is a differentiation term in the parallel valuation areas. Each subledger position is assigned to a (special) valuation class.
