Completing a Task 

Purpose

This IT process describes how to complete a task and the workflow that created the task.

Using the Process

This IT process is part of the following IT scenarios:

Process Flow

This IT process is incorporated in the Enterprise Portal (EP) and Application Sharing Java (AS) usage types.

 

       1.      Execute task (EP).

To report to the system that the task has been executed, the task owner enters the task result and sets the status to Completed.

       2.      System completes task processing (AS).

The workflow management system takes over the final processing of the workflow and updates the workflow log.

Result

The workflow that initiated the collaboration by creating a task is completed and logged.
