Extractor Logic

Description of the Key Figures:

The extractor does not provide any key figures.

Extraction Logic:

The extractor returns the data for functional locations from tables IFLOT and ILOA, which is combined using a view. For each functional location, the highest functional location in the hierarchy to which that location belongs is determined. If no such location exists for the functional location in question, the functional location itself is inserted. If there is an item of master equipment for the highest functional location, this is added to the functional location from the /ISDFPS/LMEQEXT table. In addition, the weapons system ID and tail number of the master equipment is appended to the data record of the functional location.

The extractor supports a delta mechanism, which is based on a time stamp. A time stamp is derived from the creation date and change date of a data record. If there is no change date for a data record, the time stamp is derived from the creation date. Otherwise, it is always derived from the change date. This ensures that both new records and changed records are extracted with the next delta.
