Use

When performing planning, you can use the planning status to indicate manually the status of a planning task.

Integration

You can copy the planning status into SAP BW. To do so, use program UPX_STATUS_POSTING_V2. Here, you enter the parameters Planning Area (G_AREA), Planning Folder (G_TASK), and Planning Level (G_PLEVEL). The planning level that you specify here is then used for storing the data in SAP BW. The planning status is written to each key figure contained in the planning level.

Recommendation

Create a planning level for transferring the status by copying an appropriate existing planning level, deleting all key figures, and only including the delivered key figure Planning Status (0PLANSTATUS).

Features

When you are in the planning layout of a planning task, you can choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Status to set one of the following statuses:

·        New

·        In Process

·        For Approval

·        Rejected / To Be Processed

·        Approved
