You need to define the changes that are allowed in each of the individual systems that you have in your complete system set-up (use transaction SE06). Use the transaction SE03 to view the settings. There are differences in the configuration possibilities between Release 3.1 and releases as of 4.0. Therefore, we discuss them separately below.
