The Interface Monitor has a Message Overview. The Message Overview provides a personalized overview of the interfaces you are responsible for.
Green: all messages were processed successfully or canceled manually
Yellow: there are some messages processed with warnings
Red: there are some messages with errors
Undefined: no message was selected in the selected data range
In addition, the number of messages in each of the following statuses is shown:
Processed Successfully
Processed successfully with warning
Application Error
Technical Error (only visible if you are a technical user)
In Process (only visible if you are a technical user)
Canceled
The total sum of all messages is displayed. If key fields were customized for an interface, those are also displayed.
Note
The display of interfaces depends on the authorizations of your role. If you do not see the interfaces that you expected to see, refer to your System Administrator for assistance.
In the calendar control, the days where messages are in the system are highlighted depending on the 'highest' error status; when there are only successful messages from one day, this day is displayed with a green color. Error messages are displayed in red and warning messages are displayed in yellow. The tooltip tells you how many messages are available. It is possible to restrict the selection date. You can do this by inserting a date range into the provided fields, or by marking a date range in the calendar.
You can set a timer. This timer indicates the seconds that will pass before the Interface Monitor is updated automatically.
If you double-click on an interface or a namespace, you can jump directly into the Monitoring and Error Handling transaction. All parameters are passed automatically. The maximum number of messages that are displayed in the Monitoring and Error Handling transaction depends on the Max. Number defined in the Interface Monitor. Clicking Display only errors in the Interface Monitor displays those messages that are in error status in the Error Handling transaction. If Display all messages is selected, all messages are displayed independent of their status.
