You assign the role /AIF/ERRHDL_CHANGE_EMC to users that have the responsibility to carry out emergency corrections in the error handling, that is, make changes to any field in the data messages and/or resubmit or cancel them.
When executing the Monitoring and Error Handling transaction, the user with this role will first have to enter a namespace and press the ENTER key. The system will then check the authorization for emergency corrections and display the emergency correction flag; if applicable.
Note
Note that this role allows making changes in message fields that are not explicitly released for changes. It is recommended not to assign this role to normal business users, but only users that are properly trained and trusted to carry out emergency corrections for an interface.
