Information for Business Users

There are two ways to access the menu of the SAP Application Interface Framework:

Use Transaction code: /AIF/. In this case only the SAP Application Interface Framework menu will be displayed.
Expand node ‘Cross Application Components’ of the SAP menu and click SAP Application Interface Framework

If you are a business user you usually want to use the SAP Application Interface Framework for one of the following scenarios:

To get an overview of the interfaces you are responsible for and their current status you use the Interface Monitor.
To correct errors, restart or cancel messages you use the Monitoring and Error Handling.
If you want to maintain a value mapping you can use the Value Mapping Transaction.
