Use

For some search functions, for example, with search terms, you can limit the number of hits from a search by entering combined selection criteria. If you use a combination often, you can save it as a search variant. You can delete the search variant, if required.

Procedure

Create search variant

  1. Search for the required object using one of the search functions.

The hits are shown in the selection area.

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and assign a relevant name. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The search criteria is saved as a search variant and assigned to the appropriate object type in the search area. The search variant is indicated with This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

  1. Mark the search variant you created and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. Check your search criteria.

Object search with search variant

  1. Choose a search variant.
  2. The hits are displayed in the selection area.

  3. Double click the required object.

Deleting a search variant

  1. Select the search variant you want to delete.
  2. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The search variant is deleted.
