Publisher Database 

Use

The Publisher Database is a tool used by technical administrators to display and analyze data from the Authoring Environment, the Test Author, the Content Player and Training Management.

The data can be displayed only, not changed. Errors cannot be corrected. You can however use the Publisher Database to obtain information on a problem, for example, when addressing questions to the Support Hotline.

In the context of qualifications, you can use the database to obtain information about how well a qualification corresponds to a learning objective, for instance. You can then determine what test items are used to impart the qualification.

Features

The information in the Publisher Database comes from the following components:

·        Training Management

The Publisher Database contains information on learning objectives and qualifications.

·        Authoring Environment

The Publisher Database contains information about learning nets and reusable objects that is written from the Authoring Environment to the SAP system at the time they are imported, released, or published in the Content Management System.

·        Test Author

The Test Publisher Database contains information about the structure and structure elements (sections, test items) of tests.
