Procedure (Infotype 1030) 

Definition

An infotype you can store for course types to specify system reactions to booking and prebooking checks and to specify what actions are to be carried out during follow-up processing.

Use

The Procedure infotype is used for checking purposes with all booking and prebooking functions.

The data stored in this infotype is also used after course participation so that the appropriate follow-up processing can be carried out.

Structure

You define the procedure for the following checks:

·        For bookings for courses of the same type

·        For prebookings for the same course type

·        For participation prerequisites (courses previously participated in)

·        For qualifications and alternative qualifications that are required for participation in a course

The system can execute the following action once participation has been completed:

·        Transfer the learning objectives to the participant in the form of qualifications

Integration

You maintain this infotype in Customizing for Training Management under Course Preparation or in Current Settings under Create course type.

You can also maintain the individual checks in Customizing under Day-to-Day Activities ® Booking ® Participant checks. Under Recurring Activities ® Follow-Up Processing you specify the actions that are to be carried out for follow-up processing.

If you create the Procedure infotype for a course type, you override all of the procedure settings that generally apply for course types. You make these settings in Customizing for Training Management under Day-to-Day Activities ® Booking ® Participant Checks and under Recurring Activities ® Follow-up.
