You can define the following values in this field:

• " ": If you do not enter anything in this field, there is no scale base type for this condition type, and therefore, no scale.
• Value scale
• Quantity scale

In the quantity scale there is a difference between condition basis and scale basis. In this example, the condition basis is the sum insured and the scale basis is the runtime of the contract.

In the value scale, the condition basis and scale basis are the same.
