Caution

The following applies to time-dependent courses and curriculums.

Use

Locking a course temporarily closes the participant list. You can lock both internal and external courses in both planned and firmly booked status.

Unlocking a course releases it for bookings again.

Prerequisites

For locking:

The course cannot be:

·        Locked

·        Canceled

·        Historically recorded

For unlocking:

The course cannot be:

·        Unlocked

·        Canceled

·        Historically recorded

Result

When you lock a course, a lock flag is appended to the Course Info infotype (1026).

Locked courses no longer feature in the course catalog. This means that no further bookings are possible on this course.

When you lock a course, a lock flag is appended to the Course Info infotype (1026).

Unlocked courses are included again in the course catalog, which means that it is possible to make bookings for them.

Note

Unlike canceling, locking a course is not final or irrevocable. The course can be unlocked again.
