Definition
Description of the criteria and features for selecting the relevant remuneration lines. The characteristic features required for the selection must be specified and defined in Customizing for every selection criterion: Commission ® Commission Contract ® Remuneration Clearing Agreement ® Selection Rules.
Use
Used to determine and group remunerations:
A selection rule is assigned for determining a partial quantity.
The selection rule is executed for each individual remuneration (which means that a check is made to see whether the individual remuneration fulfills the selection requirements or not) and this determines a selection characteristic, dependent on the content of the selection criteria. If a remuneration line does not include a selection characteristic, it is excluded by the clearing rule.
Selection rule maintenance takes place in Customizing. The object is subordinate to period management.
Structure
The selection runs through two phases: Preselection and main selection.
Preselection |
The criteria used to make checks in preselection are specified by SAP. To make selection on concrete key terms (commission case, business object) easier, completed selection indicators are included in the selection rule.
|
Main selection |
You can use the combination ID (that you define in Customizing) to define on a customer-specific level whether determination is triggered – using an interface – or whether a logical service you prepared is to be called up. |
Integration
If a selection characteristic is not found for any input line, execution ceases for the entire
remuneration clearing rule.
