Prebooking Participation

The following applies to time-dependent courses.
You can use this function to make prebookings for multiple participants.

1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, in the SAP Menu choose Human Resources ® SAP Learning Solution ® Prebook: Participants for Course Type. The Prebook Participation:Data Screen appears.
2. Enter a course type for which you want to prebook participation.In the search area (top left) select the search tool or search variant you want to use to search for the course type, and where relevant enter the required data (such as a search term).
3. In the selection area (lower left), select the course type you require from the hit list returned and double-click it. The course type is automatically transferred to the work area (right screen) under Course type.

Alternatively, you can select the course type directly using the possible entries help in the work area (right screen).
If you call the function from the dynamic participation menu, the relevant data is read simply by positioning the cursor on the course type. You directly access the dialog box Prebook Participation: Data where the course type is already selected.
The dialog box corresponds to the work area that is displayed when you call the individual transaction in the User Menu or the Easy Access Menu.For more information on the display features in the individual transactions Prebook Participation and Book Participation, see Working with the Object Manager.
4. If necessary, enter the period in which the participant wants to participate in the course in the Period field. The system automatically proposes a start and end date.
5. In the Language field, enter the language in which the course should be held.
6. Enter a location for the course if required.
7. Select the participant type of the participant you want to book and enter the participant's name.
If you specified a group participant type (such as an organizational unit), enter the number of prebookings.
8. Enter a prebooking priority.The prebooking priority automatically becomes the booking priority when the prebooking is converted.
