Employees' Social Security Infotype (0197) 

Definition

This infotype stores the SOCSO deduction related information.

Use

The payroll reads the information in this infotype to calculate the SOCSO deductions for a period.

Structure

·        Enter the effective period for SOCSO deductions.

·        Employee information:

¡        Enter the SOCSO number issued by the SOCSO Office.

¡        Select the indicator for Employee above 50 and first time contributor, if the employee fits the criteria.

¡        Select the indicator for old IC number if the employee's old IC Number is to be used in printing the SOCSO reports.

Integration

You must enter the categories for SOCSO contribution before creating a record for Employees' Social Security infotype (0197):

·        Category 1 - Employer and employee contributing for contributors aged below 55 years.

·        Category 2 - Employer contributing only for contributors aged above 55 years or a contributor over 50 years who never contributed SOCSO who would like to start contributing.
