Use

If an enterprise is subject to report employee data under the Employment Equity Act (EEA) and if this service is available, then this service provides employees with the opportunity to record their EEA data online. Employees can also use this service to decline from having their EEA data surveyed and reported.

Range of Functions

This service enables employees to decline (or accept) the opportunity to have their EEA data surveyed and reported. To this end, employees de-select (or select):

·        Release of Data

Where employees accept the opportunity to participate, this service enables them to record their EEA data in any combination of the following areas:

·        Identification as Aboriginal Peoples

·        Aboriginal People’s Group

·        Identification as Visible Minority

·        Identification as Persons with Disabilities

Integration

The EEA data that employees store within this service is subsequently committed to Additional Personal Data infotype (0077) records. Data stored in this service is also considered by the Employment Equity Act Report (RPLEEAK0).

Prerequisites

You have performed the appropriate settings in Customizing for Payroll Canada (PY-CA), by choosing Reporting and Statistics ® Employment Equity Act Reporting (EEA) ® Define designated group types and designated groups.
