Batch Program for Section 80
(HINIS800)
This report is used to select the Consider Actual Contributions for Tax Exemption indicator of the Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585) records of all or selected employees. This enables the payroll to read actual contributions for tax exemption instead of proposed contributions. If the Consider Actual Contributions for Tax Exemption indicator of the Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585) records is already selected, and you want to run the payroll with the proposed contributions for Section 80, you can run this batch program without selecting the Consider Actual Contributions indicator.
The employees for whom you are running this report must have a Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585) record.

· You have the option of selecting or not selecting the Consider Actual Contributions for Tax Exemption indicator of the Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585) records.
· When you run the report, a session is created. You must execute thi session from transaction SM35 for the updation of Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585).

1. From SAP Easy Access menu, choose Human Resources ® Payroll ® Asia/Pacific ® India ® Utilities ® Section 80 ® Batch program for Section 80.
The Batch Program for Section 80 - India screen appears.
2. Enter the relevant selection criteria
3. If you want the actual Section 80 contributions of the selected employees to be considered during payroll run, select Consider Actual Contributions indicator.
4. If the Consider Actual Contributions for Tax Exemption indicator of Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585) records is already selected, and you want to run the payroll with the proposed contributions for Section 80, then do not select the Consider Actual Contributions indicator.
5. Enter the Session name.
6. Your user name will be defaulted in the User field. You can enter any other user name also.
7. If you want to keep a record of the session even after executing it from transaction SM35, select the Keep session indicator.
8. You have the option of entering the Lock date. You can run the session from transaction SM35 for the updation of the infotype records only after this date.
9. Choose Program ® Execute.
10. Go to transaction SM35.
11. Select the session you want run.
12. You have the option of running the session in the foreground or in the background. Accordingly, select Session ® Process session, or Session ® Process in background.
All employees of DCS Pvt. Ltd. submit the proof of investment for the period 1999 to 2000 in the month of March 2000.
For the purpose of tax calculations, the employer normally uses the information found as Proposed Contributions in the Section 80 Deductions infotype (585). When the employee provides the proof of the contributions, the Section 80 Deductions infotype (585) is updated. In the month of March 2000, the employer wants to calculate tax for all employees, based on the actual Section 80 contributions. In this case, the employer runs the Batch program for Section 80 report (HINIS800) to select the Consider Actual Contributions for Tax Exemption indicator of the Section 80 Deductions infotype (0585) records of all employees.
