Procedure documentation Displaying and Editing Section 80 Contribution  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This Employee Self-Service scenario enables you to modify and display your Section 80 contributions for the current financial year. For the previous financial year, you can only display the data.

Prerequisites

You must have an SAP user that is directly linked to your employee master data in the Communication Infotype (0105) Subtype 0001.

Procedure

...

       1.      Access your company intranet and choose the ESS for Section 80 contributions.

The system displays an Overview screen.

       2.      Select the financial year for which you want to modify or display your Section 80 contributions.

       3.      Select Change or Display.

       4.      If you select the Change option for the current financial year,

...

                            a.      A Details screen will appear, where you can enter the proposed amounts against the respective Section 80 contributions.

                            b.      Save your entries.

Note

If a Section 80 contributions record does not exist for you, the system will create a record when you select the Change option.

       5.      If you select the Display option for the financial year, a Details screen will appear, which will display

...

                            a.      All the proposed/actual Section 80 contribution entries in case of the current financial year.

                            b.      All the actual Section 80 contribution entries in case of the previous financial year.

       6.      Select the Back option to go back to the previous screen.

Result

Any information changed through this ESSscenario is automatically updated in the Proposed contributions section of the Section 80 Deductions Infotype (0585) record in the SAP HR system of your company.
