Procedure documentation Creating Object Links for Business Locations  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

In Customizing for the Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream), data sections for the relevant objects must have been assigned to the Object links or Object links 2 screens. For more information, see Screen Configuration for Business Location Master Data.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Service Station Retailing ® Master data ® Location ® Change.
  1. Enter the Location ID and choose Enter.
  1. Choose the Object links or the Object links 2 tab, depending on the Customizing settings.
  1. Enter data in the relevant data section. For example, enter the plant and storage location IDs if you are assigning a storage location to the business location.
  1. Choose Enter to validate the details that you have entered:

A valid object is confirmed by a green check mark. If a red cross appears, there is a problem with the object. For example it may be flagged for deletion or blocked for use. You can use the relevant maintenance transaction to establish the cause of the problem.

If the object is valid, you can already display object details by doubleclicking one of the entry fields or choosing the detail pushbutton. If multiple Customizing entries have been made for a link object, the system calls a dialog box. You use this to select the dialog transaction that you want to go to.
  1. Save your entries.

The Change Business Location: Initial Screen appears. A message confirms that the business location has been changed.
