Network Price Update

Use

In addition to maintaining and updating prices based on individual locations, location clusters and competitors, you can use a network or group price update for widespread and free-form price changes for any single location or a set of locations that the user selects. You can change any prices for any material and location combination selected.

This tool is useful where there is a standard price change for all stations within a company, country, region, or city, for example, for one or more materials and/or service types. It is also useful for making individual changes to materials at locations where the price change is independent of the pricing differences defined for a material and service type, location cluster or competitor.

Features

You can:

Choose from a variety of selection criteria for the price update

Update target prices using percentage or absolute values

Set maximum and minimum values to ensure that prices remain within a certain range

Reverse network and group updates

Send the updated prices to service stations. For more information, see Sending Pricing Notifications.

Activities

To use the function for network and group price update, you choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Service Station Retailing ® Pricing ® Network and group pricing ® Network update.
