Procedure documentation Maintaining Correspondence Recipients  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

On the Corresp. Receiver Admin. (Correspondence Receiver Administration) tab page, you select business partners as correspondence recipients and specify other data that enables the dispatch of correspondence to business partners.

You can use the correspondence receiver administration feature to deliver multiple copies of the correspondence in different formats (such as fax and mail) to different addresses of the same business partner.

During the correspondence creation run, the system determines the following based on the information that you specify on this tab page:

·        Recipient name and address

·        Dispatch mode and number of copies

·        Document type (original or duplicate)

Prerequisites

Before you can create correspondence recipients, you need to complete the following activities:

·        In Customizing for Bank Customer Accounts (BCA) you have activated the Correspondence Receiver Administration feature for the product by choosing Master Data ® Product Definition ® Product ® Create Product or Change Product.

·        In Customizing for SAP Business Partner for Financial Services you have defined the address types by choosing General Settings ® Business Partner ® Basic Settings ® Address Determination ® Address Types.

·        You have assigned addresses to the business partners.

·        In Customizing for BCA you have defined the correspondence types, the correspondence roles, and the dispatch control by choosing Tools ® Correspondence Receiver Administration.

·        In Customizing for BCA you have assigned the Address Types to the different combinations of correspondence roles and correspondence types by choosing Tools ® Correspondence Receiver Administration ® Configure Address Determination.

·        In Customizing for BCA you have converted the values that you had defined for bank statement recipients into dispatch control values by choosing Tools ® Correspondence Receiver Administration ® Migration for Receiver Administration.

You only need to convert the values if you are migrating from an earlier release and want to use the information that you had specified for existing accounts.

Procedure

Create Correspondence Recipients

To create correspondence recipients, proceed as follows:

·        Select the correspondence type.

Choose Bank Statement to define bank statement recipients.

Choose Time Deposit to define recipients for other account related correspondence. You can initiate correspondence to your customers in the following scenarios:

¡        The account master record is changed

¡        The fixed-term deposit is fixed

¡        The fixed-term deposit is nearing maturity

¡        The fixed-term deposit has matured

·        In the Business Partner field, specify the recipient for the selected correspondence. The system then updates the Name field. The business partner must exist in the Bank Statement Recipient role (BKK030).

·        Specify the correspondence role and dispatch control for each correspondence recipient.

·        Select the document type (whether Original or Duplicate).

Note 

You cannot create more than one original correspondence recipient for a correspondence type.

·        Save your entries.

Note

Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Show Address to view in a simulation run the correspondence recipient details for each correspondence type. The Recipient Simulation list appears that displays the address of the recipient, and the document type (original or duplicate). The list is based on the SAP List Viewer.

Delete Correspondence Recipients

To delete individual correspondence recipients, select a record in the Correspondence Receiver Administration group box and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with the quick info text Delete Line.

Result

The system checks that at least one correspondence recipient receives the original for each correspondence type before saving or deleting the correspondence recipient details.
