Releasing a Load ID 

Prerequisites

You can release only those load IDs that have already been confirmed.

You can define the selection options of the report used for releasing load IDs in Customizing for Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) under TD (Transportation and Distribution) ® TAS (Terminal Automation System Interface) ® Define selection fields for release/revise LIDs.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Bulk transportation ® Interfaces ® TAS Interface ® Load ID  ®  Release.

The selection screen of the report appears.

       2.      Enter your required selection options and execute the report.

A list of the load IDs that match your selection options appears.

       3.      Select the load IDs that you want to release and choose Release LID.

       4.      To leave the list, choose Back.

Result

Released load IDs:

·        Can not be changed

·        Can be assigned to sales documents

When you release a load ID, the system automatically creates a change pointer for this load ID so that it can be distributed to depots. The system uses a change document to create the change pointer.
