Creating Material Handling Groups
Use
You create material handling groups to enable processing of materials sold at business locations.

Procedure

Maintain.
The screen for creating material handling groups appears.
- Choose New entries and enter:
- A two-character ID for the material handling group
- The relevant retail network business type (for example, one created for the bulk fuel business)
- A descriptive text
- Mark your entry and double-click Material handling group material assignment in the Dialog Structure tree.
The screen for defining material handling groups appears.
- Choose New entries and:
- Enter the material number of each material that you want to include
- Set the processing indicators as required
- Save your entries. A message confirms that the material handling group has been created.
Result
You can now assign the material handling group to a business location. You do this at the
Business Location Type level.
