Object documentation Higher-Level and Lower-Level Services  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

Services that, in terms of their content, are located on a higher or lower level in relation to other services.

Use

When you define a service, you can specify different properties for this service. One such property is the connection between services. To do this, you assign one service to another as a higher-level service. When you have specified a higher-level service for a particular service, the system displays hyperlinks to both of these services on the area page.

Example

You define a service that only displays leave requests that need to be processed urgently. You can enter the general service for processing leave requests as the higher-level service so that the system displays hyperlinks to both services together.
