Function documentation Ad Hoc Start of Assessments and Tests  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

After scheduling has been started (or even closed) for a timeframe, you can nevertheless (re)start individual assessments and tests for the same timeframe under the following circumstances:

·        The object has already been assessed/tested in the same timeframe once before and the assessment/test has been closed but needs to be repeated (for example, because the control or the process has changed in the meantime).

·        The object that is to be assessed or tested did not become valid until after scheduling had started, hence not until after the tasks had been sent.

Integration

To repeat an assessment for the first bullet above, you also have the option of starting the reassessment directly from the assessment application. For more information, see Performing Reassessments.

Features

If one of the above-mentioned circumstances applies, two new tab pages – Ad Hoc Start (Date) and Ad Hoc Start (Object) – appear in scheduling for the organizational level when you select the relevant task:

·        Ad Hoc Start (Date)

On this tab page, you can start assessments/tests for all objects for which the validity begins after the date you have specified. You use the Only New Objects option to specify which objects are selected:

¡        If you choose Yes, only those objects are selected that correspond to the date entered and for which no assessment/test yet exists.

¡        If you choose No, all objects for which no assessment/test exists or for which a closed assessment/test exists are selected on the basis of the date entered.

·        Ad Hoc Start (Object)

On this tab page, you can choose from the objects of the organizational unit for which the assessment or test has already been closed for the specified timeframe. You can choose for which objects the task should be resent.

On both tab pages, you specify under Requested End Date the end date of the task that is sent.

You can also perform the ad hoc start in Customizing for MIC under Workflow ® Administration Programs for MIC Workflows ® Ad Hoc Start of Assessments/Tests.
