Structure of Area Page in the Employee Self-Service Component

This graphic illustrates the area page for the Working Time business area of the Employee Self-Service component.

In this example, the Working Time area comprises four applications that can be accessed by employees:

·        Leave Request

·        Record Working Time

·        Release Working Time

·        Time Statement

The area page includes a hyperlink and a short description for each of these applications.

Under Additional Information, the area page includes a long area description with additional information about the Working Time area.

Using Subareas

You can use subareas to structure extensive areas more clearly. For example, you can divide the Personal Information area into the following subareas:

Subarea	Assigned Applications
Addresses	Change Main Residence Change Temporary Residence
Bank Information	Change Main Bank Details Secondary Bank Details Change Employee Share Account
Dependents	Enter Data on Spouse Enter Data on Children

The applications listed here are examples and, as such, might not exist in this form in the standard system.
