The configuration guide contains all the steps required to implement Mobile Asset Management. The guide explains both the sequence of the individual configuration activities and their respective dependencies.
This guide covers the following topics:
● System connections
● Middleware generation
● Data replication
● Business Customizing
● Setting up the component-specific master data
● Current settings in the production operation
For more information about Mobile Asset Management, see SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/instguides ® SAP Mobile Business Solutions (MBS).
● Technical consultants
● Application consultants
● Members of the project team implementing a mySAP.com solution
● IT department of the SAP customer
The System Connections, Middleware Generation, and Data Replication sections are aimed at technical consultants in particular, while the Business Customizing and Setting Up the Component-Specific Master Data sections are aimed more at application consultants. The remaining sections are of equal interest for both types of consultants. The importance of the different sections for the other target groups depends on their respective tasks.
You have already constructed the system landscape using the master guide and additional documentation. For information on what additional documentation there is and where the latest versions are published, see the Documentation Landscape of SAP Solutions and Business Scenarios.
