Processing Forward Orders
You can use this function if you are entering a payment order online but want to post it after the current posting date.
You have defined how far in advance you can enter a forward order (according to the product) under Account Management ® Defaults ®Tolerance Days for Forward Orders in Customizing.
If you set the BP Bank indicator in Customizing for the product defined on the account (Account Management ® Basic Functions for Account Management ® Maintain Payment Transaction Settings for Deposit Banking ® Participation in Payment Transactions) then you can select only the details defined in the business partner as the recipient for the forward order.
You have taken into account the fact that the settings under Authorization Management ® Amount-Dependent Authorization ®Maintain Payment Order for Amount Limit/Dual Control Principle also apply to the forward order.
You have various options for identifying the recipient bank in Customizing under Account Management ® Basic Functions for Account Management ® Set Up Recipient Account Identifications:
· Classic
Bank country, bank key, account number, (possibly bank control key)
· Classic + SWIFT
Bank country, bank key, SWIFT code, account number, (possibly bank control key)
· IBAN + SWIFT
IBAN, SWIFT code
...
1. You enter the forward order (with the future posting date) by choosing Account Management ® Forward Order ® Create Internally, Externally or for Abroad.

If you have activated the (amount-dependent) principle of dual control for payment order entry, the payment order is initially entered with the Control status. This must then be released by another user who has the appropriate authorization.
To do this, choose Account Management ® Forward Order ® Release. The system displays a list of all forward orders not yet released. Go to the detail view of a payment order and choose Release.
2. The forward order is temporarily saved in a table and is given the Planned status.
3. You can display the saved forward order as an overview at any time. Choose Account Management ® Forward Order ® Display. This overview lists all forward orders whose posting date is in the future. Double click on the number of a forward order to display the details.
4. To post the forward order, an executable program (report RFBKTMP1_PO) compares the posting date of each forward order with the current posting date. If it is on or before the posting date, the forward order is posted in the current account system. Now the forward orders are processed in the same way as normal payment orders.

You need to schedule the RFBKTMP1_PO report daily (for example, each morning). Start the report by choosing Periodic Tasks ® Forward Order.
5. You can delete forward orders providing they have not been posted, by choosing Account Management ® Forward Order ® Delete.
