Copy or Create a Process Model 

Prerequisites

You have accessed the initial Maintenance of Process Models screen.

Procedure

We recommend the Copy Process Model procedure.

The customer namespace includes the names that start with a digit between 0 and 9, or with the letter Z.

Copy Process Model

...

       1.      In the Process Model field, select a standard process model.

¡        To display the process model before you copy it, choose Model ® Display.

¡        To display information on the process model, choose Goto ® Documentation for Model.

       2.      Choose Model ® Copy.

       3.      In the Target Model field, enter the name of your customer-specific process model and choose Copy.

Create Process Model

...

       1.      In the Process Model field, enter a name for your customer-specific process model and choose Model ® Create.

       2.      Determine the attributes for your process model and choose Save.

The attributes enable you to determine a name and selection program for your process model.

       3.      Choose Continue.

Result

You have created a customer-specific process model and can edit it.

To use a process model to execute processes in a production system, you must activate it.

To store information on your new process model, choose Edit ® Documentation for Model.

·        If you copied a process model, the system copied the accompanying documentation too. You can change this documentation.

·        If you created a new process model, you can create new documentation for it.
