Additional Personal Data (South Korea) Infotype (0557) 

Definition

With the Additional Personal Data (South Korea) infotype (0557), you collect employees’ additional information about national contribution, challenge status and unemployment insurance. Data contained in this infotype is for personal information management and also for reporting purpose.

 

 

Structure

The Additional Personal Data (South Korea) infotype (0557) has three sections that you enter details for:

·        National contribution

National contributors are those people who sacrificed themselves for the good of the country. In this section, you can define the national contribution type, for example, soldiers who got injured or died in the war.

You also define the relationship between the national contributor and the employee. Furthermore, you specify how the company recruits the beneficiaries of the national contributors. Some companies adopt the government's recommendation and hire the qualified beneficiaries. Some companies volunteer to hire the qualified beneficiaries without the government's recommendation.

·        Challenge

You can maintain the challenge type to indicate whether the employee has any defect in eyesight or hearing for example. You also specify the specific degree of challenge status.

·        Unemployment insurance

For Data Medium Exchange (DME) reporting purpose, you maintain information such as employees’ job type, recruitment method of employee, submitting job change document or not and other details.
